Missed class today

Ugh!!! I have missed so many focused inquiry classes this semester! For three of them i was really sick. Today I missed it because my tire blew out on I-95 on my way to class! So i’m just driving down 95 when all af a sudden, BOOM! I pull over cursing the day and find out my tire was done for. So i sit on the side of 95 changing my tire and i didn’t make it to school, until 12. Just in time for my math class. Sucky day so far.

The World Poker Tour

Ok…this might be wierd to some of yall but I have a strange obsession with the world poker tour. It’s a show that comes on the travel channel every saturday, and sometimes they show reruns on espn throughout the week. I started watching the WPT about 2 years ago and I am now starting to watch it religously. Kinda sad i know lol. That’s really about the only tv i ever watch, I’m not a big tv watcher. I watch discovery channel every now and then. But if you were to ask me what shows other than the WPT that i know most about i would have to say America’s Next top model and project runway. HAHA the reason being that is all my girlfriend seems to ever watch, and over time i have kind of grown to like them. Anyways back to WPT, I am now making it a goal of mine to try to get to the WPT final table as soon as i turn 21. I could go on forever why i think 21 is a rediculous age to have to wait til in order to gamble and drink, but I’ll save that for a future blog.

Just another boring day.

Today wasn’t a very exciting day…so I don’t really have much to write about. I went to my Criminal Justice class this morning and I was extremely tired. Luckily that was the only class I had, so i got to come home and take a nap until about 2 o’clock haha. Then I woke up and played music very loudly in my room as I tended to my many pets. I then went over to my girlfriends house with a couple of my friends and played Rock Band for about 4 hours then we took a break and watched some tv until about 10:30. Then i came home and couldn’t think of anything to write about in my blog today. Sorry if i bored ya.

A weekend full of new movies.

So this past weekend I decided to go see a movie in theaters every day because there were alot out that i wanted to see. So on Friday I went to see Meet the Spartans. Huge disappointment! The movie was only like an hour long and that hour was extremely boring and not funny…big waste of eight dollars. But I made up for the suckiness of that movie on Saturday when i went to see the new Rambo. THAT MOVIE WAS FRICKEN AWESOME!!! It was like one of the perfect guy movies, a small but good plot…but lots of action and killing. Kind of like the 300, Rambo was definetely one of my top movies. Equal if not better than the 3 previous ones. Then the weekend ended pretty good with the movie Untraceable. I personally liked it, it was kind of similar to the saw movies just not as genius. So that was my weekend, I recommend untraceable and I highly recommend Rambo to any guy. I also highly recommend that you DON’T wast your money on Meet the Spartans.

A camping trip

I just got back from an awesome camping trip! Which is why I wasn’t able to write yesterday. It was me, my cousin, and 2 of my other friends went out in the woods and decided to stay out there without a tent. So we had to make our own shelter which worked out pretty good. It did get really really really cold last night, about 18 degrees. So i didn’t get a whole lot of sleep last night and I’m about to fall asleep now, but i thought i would write about my awesome experience with my friends.

A New Major

At the end of last semester i decided to change my major for biology to a double major in Homeland Security and Criminal Justice. I have attended both my criminal justice and homeland security classes and found them to be extremely interesting. I can tell that I’m going to love these classes so much. I had a rather low GPA last semester and i’m really going to try to get at least a 3.4 gpa this semester and i think having classes that i enjoy will help me achieve this goal.

I love reptiles!

At the end of summer last year I finally talked my mom into letting me get a pet snake and keep it in the house. I have been trying to get her to let me do this since i was about 8, now she finally agreed as long as it was small and i got a secure tank. So i went out and bought a baby Columbian Boa. It was only about a foot long but i loved it. She absolutely hated it and was scared to death of it. A couple of weeks after i bought her i wanted another one. So my best friend who lives with me decided that he was going to get one too. My mom didn’t like it but she let it slide. A couple of weeks after that i wanted another one! So i went to the pet store and they had this full grown milksnake (only about 2 feet long), and i fell in love with it. So without asking my mom i just brought it home. She did not like it at all, but she still let me slide. About 4 weeks ago my first one died from natural causes, about 2 out of the 7 that are born die. So this being the case i had to go buy another one. So i got a 2 year old female boa and she’s about 3 and 1/2 feet long. My mom totally flipped. She wouldn’t talk to me. But she eventually got over it and is pretty comfortable having the snakes in the house. I now have a small collection of exotic pets including 3 snakes, 2 geckos, 1 bearded dragon, and 1 tarantula and i love every single one of them!
